Winding Up Petition
A winding up petition is a first of two Court hearings that will place a company into Compulsory Liquidation.
To present a winding up petition the disgruntled creditor must demonstrate to the Court that your company is insolvency. Usually this is by showing that you have not paid monies owing to the disgruntled creditor.
Examples of evidence of an unpaid debt may be either an unpaid County (of High) Court Judgement or an unsatisfied Statutory Demand.
